Brix N Berries is owned and operated by Greg Moline and Laurie Erickson.
Both Greg and I come from the farm, and since our business is agriculture we wanted to get out of the city and have a bit of room to grow our own food and do some product testing. In 2009 we found our little peace of heaven, conveniently located 25 minutes south of Edmonton, and less than 10 minutes from Leduc. We loved the location and decided to make it our new home.
The 60 acres has a 50 acre Saskatoon orchard, which has been a U-Pick for the last 18 years. We now have 4 acres of strawberries and 1 acre of raspberries in production. As well, we have planted Haskap, sour cherries, apple and plum trees and in 2016 blueberries.
We are working to offer a large variety of nutritious fruit and veggies. We grow a big market garden with a variety of veggies as well as a greenhouse that is home to over 300 HEIRLOOM tomatoes and peppers of many varieties.
Our farming practices incorporate the use of soil amendments that focus on the building of soil health.
The goal here at BRIX N BERRIES is to produce nutrient-dense fruit and vegetables of the highest quality for everyone to enjoy!
Healthy Soil = Healthy Plants = Nutrient Dense Foods = Great Tasting Food.
So take a short drive, get out of the city and come to our farm for a visit. Taste the difference a few BRIX can make.
